Don’t expect your boyfriend to do this for you :)

Google software engineer Ari Gilder recently decided to propose his girlfriend, Faigy. But he wanted to do it in a more meaningful and also add the essence of surprise.

So he decided to put his software engineering skills to work and ended up doing one of the most talked about marriage proposals on net.

He created a romantic scavenger hunt. Winking smile

On the road to “The Big Question,” he wanted his girl to visit places around New York City that were filled with memories of their relationship.

He constructed a road map using Google Maps. His Girlfriend Faiy, equipped with Nexus One started navigating relying on her Google Maps.

When Faigy checked in to a location, a custom app built by her Boyfriend Gilder and fellow Google engineers asked Faigy to input a password based on questions (related to their sweet memories) the stationed friends asked.

Once she inputs the correct answer, the maps would unlock the next location on her route map along with a bunch of roses the friend waiting there would give her.

When she got to the checkered pin that marked her last destination, her seventh and final rose also came with a question — but this one was from her boyfriend, and it wasn’t any ordinary question “will you marry me?”

Now if you are a girl reading this, don’t expect your boyfriend to do this for you, if he isn't a techie Smile with tongue out
